He dedicated the victory to the Egyptian fans and their injured teammate Mohamed Hamdy.

The Egyptian national team defeated the Ivory Coast team 3-2 in the Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals on Saturday evening, advancing the Pharaohs to the tournament's semifinals.

Hassan praised the players' commitment and fighting spirit in executing the plans set by the coaching staff.

He pointed out that he was the only coach in the tournament to use the 5-3-2 tactic, which he considered an indicator of the Egyptian national team's success in presenting a distinctive style of play that other teams later emulated in competitions.
